#WorkingFromHome with Team EMDC

#TeamEMDC is practicing social distancing and working from home. Our #WorkingFromHome series follows team members that continue to assist and support, businesses, communities and workers from home.

In part 4 of this YouTube series, Kristin chats with colleague Will Harper, the new Planner for our Community Initiatives team. In part 2 of our #WorkingFromHome series, Kristin spoke with colleague Kim about digital workshops. In part 3 we talk with Procurement Counselor, Bryan, about the role EMDC’s Maine PTAC program plays in helping businesses navigate the world of government contracting. With new contracting needs due to COVID-19, PTAC Counselors are helping Maine businesses fill specific requests and prepare to bid on projects for thermometers, masks, hand sanitizer, packaging, and more. After speaking with colleague Ryan about staying connected through technology yesterday, part 2 in our #WorkingFromHome series features an interview with Kim Donovan, Senior Workforce Development Specialist, who talks about free interactive workshops for EMDC clients. Kim and her #TeamEMDC colleagues are using Zoom to conduct job readiness training, do resume and interview prep, and more to help job seekers find meaningful employment virtually.
