Federal grants totaling $5 million aim to help bus service in Maine

Bus systems in the state of Maine, especially those in rural areas, will receive more than $5 million for a battery of improvements.
The U.S. Department of Transportation says the grants will modernize and improve bus service in the state. The money is part of more than $366 million in grants that is headed to bus systems around the country. Read more
