Office on Opioid Response Seminar: Maine’s Connecting with Opportunities Initiative

Friday, January 8th from 11:30-12:30 PM EST, was the 5th installment of Governor Mills Opioid Response Seminar Series and focused on Maine’s Connecting with Opportunities initiative funded by the US Department of Labor.

This initiative, focused on the opioid crisis, aims to assist unemployed individuals (and affected others) in recovery from substance use disorder to receive the support, training, and guidance they need to access and maintain sustainable employment. It can also assist unemployed individuals who would like to go into occupational fields related to recovery and substance use disorder treatment.
